Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Goodwill of North Georgia. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining control of all new goods inventory and compiling inventory data to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor and document inventory levels, including shortages and damages on incoming inventory
  • Track orders and process incoming new goods orders to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of store requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse
  • Assist with reporting inventory levels of individual product SKUs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Environment Conditions:

  • Able to start employment in acceptable safety work shoes
  • Able to work in all types of conditions, including heat, cold, and dust
  • Able to operate a Van or Box Truck to commute between locations
  • Able to meet all physical requirements of the position, including bending, reaching, grasping, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior military or non-profit experience
