Role Summary: The Senior .NET Software Engineer will play a crucial role in our development endeavors, guiding the team in the creation of high-quality .NET applications. This position encompasses both hands-on coding and leadership duties, including mentoring junior developers and offering level 3 production support as needed. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our software offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the architecture and development of sophisticated .NET applications, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, advocating for best practices and high coding standards.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for L3 production support, leveraging your expertise to address complex challenges and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate new technologies and frameworks that enhance application functionality.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts, from code optimization to process enhancements.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, manage deployment strategies, and ensure meticulous documentation.
- Encourage a culture of learning and development within the team, offering regular training sessions and one-on-one mentorship.
- Contribute to strategic planning and future project roadmaps.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in .NET development with a proven leadership track record.
- Demonstrated experience in L3 production support with an emphasis on rapid resolution and preventive strategies.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, and Entity Framework.
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Comfortable with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Leadership capabilities with excellent communication and mentoring skills.
