Job Summary

This role is part of our Outside Sales team, responsible for promoting and maintaining sales by originating and developing leads, and providing customer service and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the metals industry and be able to build relationships with customers to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development
    • Responsible for selling products to business and industrial establishments or individuals.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Build and maintain relationships with customers to identify new business opportunities.
  • Customer Service and Support
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Account Management
    • Manage assigned customer accounts to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers to drive business growth.
  • Market Research and Analysis
    • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the metals industry.
    • Provide market analysis and insights to inform sales strategies and business decisions.

Requirements

  • 0-5 years of relevant experience in sales or business development.
  • High School diploma/GED required, Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the metals industry and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.

Working Conditions

This role requires a sedentary work environment, with occasional walking and standing. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
