Job Description

The Front Counter Representative is a key member of the Kraft Tank CO team, responsible for providing exceptional customer support related to parts inquiries and sales. This role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure seamless communication with retail customers, as well as internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Support: Provide general customer support related to parts inquiries and sales, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer needs.
  • Parts Sales: Assist customers with parts needs, including answering questions, processing orders, and resolving issues.
  • Order Management: Manage customer call lists to ensure proactive communication with customers regarding weekly/monthly order needs, including delivery routes.
  • Lead Management: Manage internet and digital marketing customer leads, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Credit Verification: Verify customer credit status in Karmak prior to proceeding with additional work/orders.
  • Authorization: Obtain formal authorization from customers and internal teams prior to work being initiated.
  • Order Status: Communicate with customers on parts order status, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
  • Delivery Confirmation: Follow-up with customers on daily orders to confirm delivery, receipt, and accuracy.
  • Showroom Maintenance: Organize and restock the showroom, ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating a positive attitude and commitment to excellence.
Requirements:
  • Detail-Oriented: Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license to support delivery and transportation needs.
  • Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, including the ability to handle customer inquiries and issues.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. to support delivery and transportation needs.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Computer Work: Perform computer work as needed in an office setting to support department efficiency.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal skills with management and team members.
