Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join our team at Syneos Health Careers. As a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing a territory to effectively target, penetrate, and establish relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute a Strategic Business Plan: Create and implement a business plan to effectively target and penetrate a geographical area, establishing a network of relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Build Relationships with Healthcare Providers: Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals across multiple medical subspecialties.
  • Manage Hybrid Relationships: Effectively manage relationships through a mix of in-person and virtual engagement, including calls on retail pharmacies, both chain and independent.
  • Attain Sales and Profit Goals: Meet or exceed assigned sales and profit goals, managing and tracking territory-specific information through a CRM system.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or a life science.
  • Pharmaceutical or Healthcare Industry Sales Experience: 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry sales, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Business Acumen and Clinical Knowledge: Demonstrated business acumen, comprehension of clinical information, and ability to articulate a clinical sales message to healthcare providers.
  • CRM and Microsoft Office Skills: Proficient in using a CRM tool, such as Veeva, and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
