Position Overview:

The Construction Site Engineer plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing project documentation and logs while offering technical assistance to the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Foremen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and actively promote all Safety protocols and procedures, including the reporting of accidents, incidents, and near misses to uphold our primary Core Value – Safety, which is paramount in all our operations.
  • Review and categorize delivery slips and purchase orders.
  • Provide technical support to field superintendents and foremen.
  • Enter daily reports and track labor hours.
  • Discuss daily operational methods with field supervisors and foremen.
  • Evaluate and understand project specifications and daily work requirements, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Conduct field measurements.
  • Update as-built drawings with redline information on a daily basis.
  • Assist Quality Assurance/Quality Control with necessary testing.
  • Perform material quantity take-offs utilizing AutoCAD.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in civil construction is preferred.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to submit their applications.
