Position Overview:

The Field Engineer plays a crucial role in managing and documenting project activities while providing essential technical support to the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Foremen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to and actively promote all safety protocols, ensuring that all incidents and near misses are reported to uphold our core value of Safety.
  • Review and categorize delivery slips and purchase orders.
  • Offer technical guidance to field superintendents and foremen.
  • Document daily reports and labor hours.
  • Engage in discussions regarding daily field operations with supervisors and foremen.
  • Review and understand project specifications and daily work requirements, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Conduct field measurements accurately.
  • Maintain daily records of as-built information on project drawings.
  • Assist Quality Assurance/Quality Control with necessary testing procedures.
  • Perform material quantity take-offs utilizing AutoCAD software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction field.
  • At least one year of experience in civil construction is preferred.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to submit their applications.
