Position Overview:
The Field Engineer plays a crucial role in managing and documenting project activities while providing essential technical support to the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Foremen.
Key Responsibilities:- Adhere to and actively promote all safety protocols, ensuring that all incidents and near misses are reported to uphold our core value of Safety.
- Review and categorize delivery slips and purchase orders.
- Offer technical guidance to field superintendents and foremen.
- Document daily reports and labor hours.
- Engage in discussions regarding daily field operations with supervisors and foremen.
- Review and understand project specifications and daily work requirements, reporting any discrepancies.
- Conduct field measurements accurately.
- Maintain daily records of as-built information on project drawings.
- Assist Quality Assurance/Quality Control with necessary testing procedures.
- Perform material quantity take-offs utilizing AutoCAD software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction field.
- At least one year of experience in civil construction is preferred.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to submit their applications.
- Ability to adapt to various personalities and management styles.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Capable of managing a team effectively and efficiently.
- Self-motivated with outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Utilizes experience and judgment to plan and achieve objectives.
