Infrastructure Superintendent Position Available with a Leading Construction Services Firm

About the Role:

As a Superintendent in the Infrastructure sector, you will play a critical role in managing the various phases of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the entire project lifecycle to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Managing daily operations on the construction site, including supervision of staff, engineers, subcontractors, and tradespeople.
  • Coordinating all construction activities while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality control protocols.
  • Directing field personnel to ensure timely project completion within budget and maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Preparing and scheduling job site activities, including the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Communicating effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues.
  • Monitoring project progress, addressing challenges, and ensuring alignment with budgetary and timeline constraints.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Superintendent in the construction sector, specifically in utilities supervision.
  • Extensive experience in site management, heavy civil works, concrete, and marine construction.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven history of managing and guiding teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
