Position Overview:
The Field Engineer plays a crucial role in managing and organizing project documentation and logs while offering technical support to the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Foremen. This position is essential for ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Adhere to and actively promote all safety protocols and procedures, including the reporting of all accidents, incidents, and near misses to uphold our core value of Safety first.
- Review and process delivery slips and purchase orders.
- Provide technical guidance to field superintendents and foremen.
- Document daily reports and labor hours.
- Engage in discussions regarding daily field operations with supervisors and foremen.
- Review and understand project specifications and daily work requirements, reporting any discrepancies.
- Conduct field measurements as necessary.
- Update as-built drawings with redline information on a daily basis.
- Assist Quality Assurance/Quality Control with required testing procedures.
- Perform material quantity take-offs utilizing AutoCAD software.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction field.
- A minimum of one year of experience in civil construction is preferred.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to adapt to various personalities and management styles.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Capable of managing a team effectively and efficiently.
- Self-motivated with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
