Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of hospital programs by educating the community about services offered. Key areas of focus include internal medicine, critical care, psychiatric, gerontology, and other hospital-related services. This role will focus on building relationships to increase the visibility of hospital services.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, Master's Degree preferred
  • Valid Rhode Island Driver's License and reliable/insured vehicle
  • Five years' previous hospital program development experience in areas such as IOP, Bariatric, Cardiac, etc.
Key Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and co-workers
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction
  • Customer service skills and ability to establish effective working relationships
Working Conditions

The Business Development Manager will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Manual skills are required for activities such as computer utilization.
