Position Overview:
Our client is actively seeking a Laboratory Research Technician to join their innovative team.
Role Summary:
This is a 6-month engagement where you will be integral in conducting experiments and managing data that will facilitate cross-disciplinary technical projects across various fields including Microbiology, Chemistry, Electronics, and more. You will need to adapt quickly to changing project needs and work independently to drive early-stage initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct experimental splits with efficiency and precision.
- Propose subsequent steps in experimental processes.
- Approach challenges with solutions in mind.
- Utilize your interdisciplinary expertise to explore innovative concepts.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a laboratory technician in an industrial R&D setting.
- Proficiency with various instruments and technologies, including:
- Electronic testing and measurement tools.
- Liquid handling and biological sample preparation.
- Laboratory environmental equipment.
- Analytical techniques such as microscopy and spectroscopy.
- Experience in chemical and materials handling.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software systems.
- A strong commitment to problem-solving and detail-oriented work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree (BS/MS/PhD) in relevant fields such as Materials Science, Chemistry, or Engineering.
- Capability to work onsite in Mountain View, CA.
- Strong skills in data analysis.
- Experience in early-stage startup environments.
