Key responsibilities for this position include:

- Delivering professional and courteous reference services through the library's customer relations management system, chat service, email, and face-to-face interactions.

- Conducting precise searches for bibliographic data and scientific publications across various research databases as requested. Organizing and exporting search results utilizing citation management tools.

- Managing document delivery and interlibrary loan (ILL) requests from library patrons, including the search for scientific and technical resources in both electronic and print formats. Maintaining records in compliance with federal record-retention mandates and copyright laws.

- Performing routine administrative tasks using Microsoft 365 and other online office applications.

- Engaging in onsite projects and tasks as needed, including collection management, inventories, and circulation activities.

- Participating in Enterprise Library working groups as time allows.

- Assisting in other library service areas as assigned.

To be eligible for this position, candidates should possess:

- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution, along with one (1) year of pertinent experience; or

- A High School Diploma/GED Certificate/High School Equivalency Certificate, coupled with five (5) years of relevant experience.

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in:

- Oral and written communication skills;

- Writing and editing capabilities;

- Problem-solving skills;

- Practical knowledge of library or related information services, tools, and methodologies.
