About the Role:

The Business Development Manager is a sales professional responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with mid-sized enterprises across North America. This role involves engaging with C-level executives to understand their business needs and presenting Gartner's research and advisory solutions as a means to achieve their strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to target mid-sized enterprises with $50 million - $750 million in annual revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to understand their business challenges and present Gartner's solutions as a means to address these challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication of Gartner's value proposition.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of Gartner's business in the mid-sized enterprise segment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or sales.
  • 1-4 years of sales experience, preferably in a consultative sales role.
  • Experience selling research and advisory solutions or similar products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
