Position Overview

The UTR Flex League Coordinator (FLC) role is a remote, regionally focused position tasked with overseeing, recruiting, and managing a designated UTR Flex League Market. FLCs play a crucial role in fostering connections within their local tennis community and driving the swift growth and overall success of the UTR Flex League network in their area and on the UTR platform.

In this capacity, you will prioritize the operational management of your assigned league market, ensuring that tennis players of all skill levels and ages become more active and engaged participants in the tennis community. This includes engaging with local tennis enthusiasts, networking with potential players, creating and expanding league opportunities, and maintaining communication with players. During the pre-launch phase of the league, your focus will be on raising awareness and demonstrating value to customers. You will be responsible for educating the community and establishing a strong UTR Flex League brand. Following the launch, your role will shift to driving league growth through ongoing recruitment of new players and retention of existing participants. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all players in your market and collaborate closely with the UTR Sports corporate team for training, support, and addressing any technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, recruit, and engage your local tennis community through UTR Flex Leagues and the associated technology via UTR Flex League Digital Clubs.
  • Establish strong and trustworthy relationships by leveraging existing tennis connections, creative marketing strategies, and targeted outreach through various communication channels.
  • Analyze league and player performance, presenting monthly analytics reports to ensure alignment with the UTR Flex League implementation strategy and success metrics.
  • Collaborate with the UTR Corporate Flex League and Support team to execute the strategic plan for player registration and ongoing participation in leagues on the UTR platform within your market.

Qualifications:

  • Active or established tennis player and/or coach with a passion for promoting the sport.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage tasks from concept through execution and evaluation.
  • Dynamic, focused, and charismatic attitude with a commitment to achieving results.
  • Strong ability to educate and sell, with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in digital and social media marketing platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in networking, recruiting, and selling within the tennis community.
  • Comfortable using various tools and systems.
  • Ability to document feedback from clients and communicate effectively with UTR team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong follow-through, ownership of tasks, and responsiveness.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to represent UTR confidently.
  • Preferred undergraduate degree or relevant professional experience of 2+ years.
