Department Overview:

The NTERI is dedicated to advancing research and clinical care related to the visual system. Our focus is on understanding and addressing eye disorders while striving to eliminate healthcare disparities.

Role Summary:

We are in search of a committed Program Management Specialist to lead the coordination of our Institute's initiatives and activities. This role emphasizes program oversight without direct budget responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in program management, exceptional organizational capabilities, and a dedication to furthering our Institute's mission through effective program execution and community involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all programs and activities within the Institute, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for program enhancement in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Coordinate activities across various departments to ensure cohesive implementation and optimal resource utilization.
  • Establish evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including faculty, students, and community members, to support programmatic goals.
  • Design strategies for community engagement in Institute programs, ensuring alignment with community needs.
  • Prepare performance reports for stakeholders, highlighting program outcomes and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in program management.

Qualifications:

Minimum: Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with advanced degrees being advantageous. Proven experience in managing multiple programs effectively, strong leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills are highly desirable.

Work Schedule:

Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
