We are focused on transforming Army Aviation through initiatives like the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) as part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization strategy. Our work also encompasses projects like the Bell 525 Relentless and the High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, aimed at pioneering the next generation of tilt-rotor capabilities. This role is based at our headquarters, with options for flexible work arrangements.

Position Overview: CUI Specialist in Supply Chain Management

We are seeking a Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Specialist to support the Procurement Project Management tasks associated with the FLRAA development program.

As the CUI Specialist for Supply Chain Management, you will be instrumental in aiding the FLRAA Strategic Sourcing team and supplier network to ensure adherence to data security and recordkeeping standards. Your role will also involve leading the creation and execution of best practices for data security and cybersecurity within the supply chain.

Your Responsibilities as a CUI Specialist in Supply Chain Management

  • Establish, implement, and refine CUI policies for the FLRAA Supply Chain in accordance with program requirements and organizational directives, ensuring they are regularly updated.
  • Develop and execute a thorough CUI education and awareness program for internal supply chain stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the FLRAA supplier network complies with necessary CUI protection measures, participate in award decisions, and conduct regular compliance assessments.
  • Create and enforce guidelines for information classification within the Supply Chain based on security requirements.
  • Conduct routine audits and incident responses to ensure compliance with established information classification policies among Supply Chain personnel.
  • Assist procurement professionals in negotiating cybersecurity terms in agreements and contracts with suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier data, oversee compliance, and analyze performance metrics.

Qualifications and Skills Required

This role requires the ability to excel in a collaborative environment, along with a strong understanding of Data Security and Data Classification principles. Candidates should have a working knowledge of current government-mandated cybersecurity protocols, excellent analytical skills, and a team-oriented approach. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders.

Requirements for Success

Applicants should have prior experience in supporting CUI programs, possess one or more Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP), and ideally hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Information, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Cyber Security certification is preferred, along with the ability to obtain or maintain a Secret-level security clearance. Advanced degrees will be considered an additional asset.
