Role Overview:
The Aerospace NC Programming Specialist is responsible for the detailed interrogation, analysis, and interpretation of various engineering documentation, including:

- Engineering Drawings
- Models
- Bills of Materials
- Technical Specifications
- Quality Documentation
- Process Frameworks
- Departmental Procedures

This role is essential for executing assigned tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and provide operational models and 2D schematics for manufacturing process planning as required.
- Offer process liaison support for manufacturing operations when operational models and 2D schematics are available.
- Create and maintain tooling and fixture definitions for manufacturing processes across all media types, including both modern and legacy designs.
- Execute the creation and upkeep of CAM programs and operator instructions for Numerical Control equipment.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of loft models, flat patterns, and associated digital tooling programs.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of NC Programming, lofting, engineering principles, tool design, and manufacturing planning processes.
- Apply knowledge of GD&T and aerospace tolerances effectively.
- Support producibility assessments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and schedules of assigned work.
- Adhere to established cost control standards, schedules, and quality requirements to ensure market competitiveness.
- Provide technical support to procurement and suppliers as directed by management.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Leverage extensive knowledge of aircraft manufacturing to train, direct, instruct, mentor, and validate production engineering tasks.
- Participate in training and complete competency-based assessments as required to stay updated with technological advancements.

Educational Qualifications:
- A minimum of four (4) years of college education or eight (8) years of relevant experience in the aerospace sector.
- Proven ability to perform essential functions related to GD&T and aerospace tolerances effectively.
Note: This position is exclusive to US Citizens due to federal contracting requirements. 3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this role.
