Job Overview
As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless flow of information and support for patients within the healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional front-line customer service, including reception and registration duties.
- Conduct interviews with patients and their families to gather essential demographic and financial information, complete necessary consents, and assist in directing patients to appropriate areas.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors with inquiries regarding billing, insurance, or collections.
- Assist patients in navigating financial assistance programs, processing required documentation, and connecting them with the right staff for additional support.

Expertise and Coordination
- Act as the expert for registration functions, ensuring accurate and timely patient information flow during hospital stays.
- Collaborate with physician offices and team members to address coverage issues and ensure a smooth patient experience.

Quality Improvement
- Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of services provided in the healthcare setting.
- Be flexible in working occasional unscheduled shifts or assisting in finding coverage for absences as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- A minimum of two years of experience in a medical environment, particularly in patient registration, financial counseling, or insurance and medical terminology.
