Position Overview

As a vital member of the Providence Health & Services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of patients within our medical facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at providing exceptional customer service and support in both the Swedish Medical Center and Emergency Department settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, offering assistance with reception and registration processes.
  • Conduct interviews with patients and their families to gather essential demographic and financial information.
  • Facilitate the completion of necessary consents and guide patients through the facility.
  • Address inquiries related to billing, insurance, and collections, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Assist patients in navigating financial assistance programs, including the processing of required documentation.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for the registration functions, ensuring accurate and timely patient information flow.
  • Collaborate with physician offices and team members to resolve coverage issues effectively.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the Medical Center and Emergency Department.
  • Be adaptable to occasional unscheduled shifts or coverage needs as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
