Position Overview

The Patient Services Specialist is responsible for managing reception duties, patient registration, insurance verification, chart preparation, and telephone triaging, along with co-pay collection within the Medical Oncology department. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for addressing patient care and clinic-related issues. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution with a focus on Healthcare.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a healthcare environment (e.g., physician's office, scheduling).
  • Familiarity with Epic software.
