As a Senior Risk Management Consultant, you will play a crucial role in advising our business partners on identifying and mitigating risks inherent in their operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units to enhance the control environment by developing and refining controls, addressing any outstanding issues.
  • Act as a bridge between business units and Corporate Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, and other risk management groups.
  • Implement various proactive risk management initiatives, including risk assessments, operational risk event reporting, and business continuity planning.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of existing and new processes, facilitating documentation and identifying associated risks and controls.
  • Ensure robust controls are established to mitigate legal, regulatory, and operational risks, providing guidance on control design where gaps are identified.
  • Oversee essential risk processes, ensuring timely execution of business continuity planning and records retention requirements.
  • Generate reports on operational risk events and key risk indicators, adhering to company policies and standards.
  • Work closely with business partners to perform root-cause analyses and implement corrective action plans for identified issues.
  • Deliver relevant risk training to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Qualifications:

Essential:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business management, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in risk management, internal controls, finance, or a related discipline.
  • In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred:
  • 8+ years of experience in risk management, internal controls, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor or RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional.
