Job Description:

Job Summary:

Vision Achievement is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team as a Project Manager. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate civil engineering projects from conception to completion, including design, construction, and testing.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure projects are progressing as planned and identify any potential issues or concerns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, proposals, and other documentation as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management, with a strong background in construction management, design, and testing.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, and other engineering tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with construction management software, such as Procore or PlanGrid.
  • Knowledge of building codes, design manuals, and construction practices.
  • Strong technical writing and analytical skills.
