Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with finance and operational leaders to deliver financial analysis support, including budget creation, variance analysis, monthly reporting, business planning, costing, performance measurement, and proforma modeling. Develop and propose innovative methodologies and tools for data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. Engage in multidisciplinary teams to assess strategic, operational, and financial dimensions of the clinical enterprise. Conduct business case analyses, including the development of financial models and evaluation of business trends to identify growth opportunities. Participate in special initiatives aimed at enhancing reporting, analysis, and internal processes to drive productivity improvements and service delivery. Prepare and communicate monthly financial and operational reports/results to departments and stakeholders. Conduct ad hoc analyses and perform other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet all required qualifications prior to the start date of employment.

A Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, Health Administration, or a related field. 2 - 5 years of relevant professional experience. Familiarity with data modeling and analytical tools/techniques related to business and financial analytics. Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and process comprehension. Proficiency in financial systems, with significant experience using Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage workflow, and meet operational deadlines with minimal oversight. Demonstrated understanding of fundamental financial principles, including knowledge of financial statements and metrics.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, or PeopleSoft. Familiarity with data querying tools or experience with relational databases. Ability to translate analyses into actionable insights for informed decision-making. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and concise material for diverse audiences. Experience in a healthcare, higher education, or academic medical center environment is preferred.
