Position Overview:

As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting various segments of the Amcor Rigid Packaging North America Business Unit. Your focus will be on enhancing customer satisfaction while achieving sales volume, revenue, and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and update the Customer contract database, ensuring key pricing provisions are accurately maintained.
  • Drive the commercial freight recovery program to optimize business segment performance.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to analyze competitive pricing and market trends.
  • Utilize pricing databases to develop performance metrics and support pricing strategy.
  • Engage with commercial and marketing teams to identify pricing trends across market segments.
  • Participate in Commercial Account Teams, focusing on profitability improvement and proactive account planning.
  • Assist in the development of pricing proposals for Regional and National accounts using advanced pricing tools.
  • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate variances and support contract negotiations.
  • Leverage tools such as SAP and Salesforce for data analysis and profitability improvement initiatives.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business growth strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a financial role.
  • Proficient in systems such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective team player with excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel less than 10% of the time.
