We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Lead Business Analyst to oversee financial reporting, analysis, and support services for LSA units while taking on a leadership position within a team of 20 Business Analysts.

The Business Analyst will be part of LSA Finance, reporting directly to the Business Analyst Manager, and will collaborate with Unit Administrators to provide shared financial management and analytical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Unit Administrators to formulate budgets and strategically analyze performance against those budgets.
  • Provide accurate guidance on financial policies and procedures.
  • Develop regular and ad hoc financial reports and analyses for units and college leadership.
  • Foster a robust internal controls environment and manage processes to ensure compliance.
  • Advise on operational efficiency to optimize financial resource utilization.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and project teams, identifying best practices and measuring effectiveness.
  • Deliver training to unit and LSA Finance staff.
  • Contribute to the Business Analyst leadership team, working collaboratively towards LSA Finance objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • BBA in accounting, finance, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Extensive proficiency in spreadsheet applications such as Excel and Google Sheets, along with complex databases.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in recognizing and investigating data discrepancies.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently, coordinating cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster a collaborative atmosphere.

Additional Information: The target salary range for this position is $100,000 - $109,800, with actual salary based on qualifications and experience. Background checks are conducted on all candidates upon acceptance of a contingent offer.
