Key Responsibilities*

Collaborate with finance and operational leaders to deliver financial analysis support, including budget formulation, variance analysis, monthly reporting, business planning, costing, performance measurement, and proforma modeling. Design, develop, and propose innovative methodologies and tools for data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. Engage in multidisciplinary teams to assess strategic, operational, and financial dimensions of the clinical enterprise. Conduct business case analyses, including the development of financial models and evaluation of business trends to identify growth opportunities. Participate in special initiatives aimed at enhancing reporting, analysis, and internal processes to boost productivity and service delivery. Prepare and communicate monthly financial and operational reports/results to relevant departments and stakeholders. Conduct ad hoc analyses and fulfill other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications*

To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet all required qualifications prior to the commencement of employment.

A Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, Health Administration, or a related discipline. 2 - 5 years of relevant professional experience. Familiarity with data modeling and other analytical tools/techniques relevant to business and financial analytics. Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis, process comprehension, development of alternative solutions, and recommended actions. Proficiency in financial systems, with substantial experience using Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage workflow, and meet operational deadlines with minimal oversight. Demonstrated understanding of fundamental financial principles, including knowledge of financial statements and metrics.

Desired Qualifications*

Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, or PeopleSoft. Proficiency in data querying tools or experience with relational databases. Ability to translate analyses into actionable insights for informed decision-making. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to analyze complex information and present it clearly to the appropriate audience. Experience in a healthcare, higher education, or academic medical center environment is preferred.
