Position Overview:

The Lead Financial Analyst will assess and interpret financial accounting standards and reports, including balance sheets, revenue streams, and cash flow statements. This role is pivotal in conducting financial planning and analysis, consolidating data, forecasting trends, and preparing comprehensive financial statements. The position offers a flexible work arrangement, allowing for both in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Embody The Ladders' core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Assess and interpret financial accounting standards while contributing to the preparation of financial reports.
  3. Analyze and oversee various transactions and accounting ledgers.
  4. Prepare necessary analyses and reports.
  5. Manage general ledger tasks, including posting journal entries, reconciling monthly balance sheet accounts, and conducting account analyses.
  6. Facilitate banking transactions and prepare cash flow forecasts.
  7. Record and monitor fixed assets, manage depreciation, and account for the disposal of fixed assets.
  8. Prepare and submit tax returns for sales, use, and property tax.
  9. Interpret and implement new accounting systems and procedures for designated areas.
  10. Contribute to process enhancements throughout the department.
  11. Ensure adherence to GAAP principles.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, along with a minimum of five years of accounting experience in a multinational environment. A CPA license or candidacy is preferred. Experience in preparing and filing tax returns for sales, use, and property tax is essential. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Preferred experience with international accounting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft D365 ERP system.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated independent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex situations and propose solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Work Environment:

This role requires the physical and mental capacity to perform all essential functions effectively, including:
