Key Responsibilities
  • Compensation
    • Develop, implement, and administer compensation programs to align with company goals and ensure competitive practices globally.
    • Monitor existing compensation practices and recommend cost-effective, trend-aligned changes.
    • Advise senior management on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
    • Design creative solutions for compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
    • Compile, prepare, and present data to support compensation objectives.
    • Ensure internal and external pay equity, pay for performance, and retention of talent.
    • Partner with leadership to support broad job definitions and skill-based pay initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with compensation laws and regulations.
  • Employee Benefits and Programs
    • Manage employee benefit programs, including life, health, dental, vision, disability, voluntary benefits, retiree benefits, wellness benefits, and reimbursement programs.
    • Provide employee education and assistance with benefits programs.
    • Manage the 401k plan and serve on the benefits committee.
    • Coordinate with Payroll and Accounting for accurate and timely employer contributions and payroll deductions.
    • Ensure compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
    • Lead audits for all compensation and benefit programs.
  • Employment Law and Regulatory Compliance
    • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions.
    • Ensure policies, procedures, and reporting comply with legal standards and recommend policy revisions.
  • Payroll and HRIS
    • Oversee payroll process and ensure records comply with regulations.
    • Coordinate with Payroll Specialists for accurate and timely payroll submissions.
    • Work with Accounting to calculate quarterly and annual bonus programs.
    • Maintain HRIS and time-keeping database tables to ensure accurate records and compile HR reports for management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • BA or BS in human resources, business, or a closely related field.
  • Experience
    • 5+ years of human resources experience.
    • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
    • At least one year of experience managing subordinates.
  • Skills
    • Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking skills.
    • Skilled in conflict resolution and team facilitation.
    • Strong analytical skills for interpreting and communicating data.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with senior management.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite and ADP Workforce Now and Payroll.
    • Experience with ADP and Payscale-Payfactors preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education and/or Experience
    • 3+ years of compensation and benefits experience in a global organization.
