Key Responsibilities- Compensation
- Develop, implement, and administer compensation programs to align with company goals and ensure competitive practices globally.
- Monitor existing compensation practices and recommend cost-effective, trend-aligned changes.
- Advise senior management on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
- Design creative solutions for compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
- Compile, prepare, and present data to support compensation objectives.
- Ensure internal and external pay equity, pay for performance, and retention of talent.
- Partner with leadership to support broad job definitions and skill-based pay initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with compensation laws and regulations.
- Employee Benefits and Programs
- Manage employee benefit programs, including life, health, dental, vision, disability, voluntary benefits, retiree benefits, wellness benefits, and reimbursement programs.
- Provide employee education and assistance with benefits programs.
- Manage the 401k plan and serve on the benefits committee.
- Coordinate with Payroll and Accounting for accurate and timely employer contributions and payroll deductions.
- Ensure compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
- Lead audits for all compensation and benefit programs.
- Employment Law and Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and reporting comply with legal standards and recommend policy revisions.
- Payroll and HRIS
- Oversee payroll process and ensure records comply with regulations.
- Coordinate with Payroll Specialists for accurate and timely payroll submissions.
- Work with Accounting to calculate quarterly and annual bonus programs.
- Maintain HRIS and time-keeping database tables to ensure accurate records and compile HR reports for management.
- Education
- BA or BS in human resources, business, or a closely related field.
- Experience
- 5+ years of human resources experience.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
- At least one year of experience managing subordinates.
- Skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking skills.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and team facilitation.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting and communicating data.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with senior management.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and ADP Workforce Now and Payroll.
- Experience with ADP and Payscale-Payfactors preferred.
- Education and/or Experience
- 3+ years of compensation and benefits experience in a global organization.
- Interpersonal Skills
- Skilled communicator with strong speaking and legal terminology understanding.
- Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Desire and willingness to learn.
- Proven problem-solving ability and experience working with cross-functional teams.
