Senior Systems Architect - TS/SCI

Xcelerate Solutions is in search of a dedicated Senior Systems Architect to become an integral part of our innovative team. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for documenting and refining our client's enterprise framework, ensuring it aligns with their strategic vision of enhancing interoperability through cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data-centric initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Framework Development:
  • Establish an enterprise framework that provides stakeholders with insights into essential capabilities, interdependencies, total cost of ownership, and critical mission impacts and risks.
  • Document the current state of the client's IT ecosystem across various divisions.
  • Collaborate on a future state vision that aligns with the client's IT roadmap.
  • Formulate a transition strategy to guide the evolution of the client's enterprise framework from the current state to the envisioned future state.
Strategic Design and Planning:
  • Develop and uphold a comprehensive architecture vision and strategy.
  • Create detailed roadmaps for technology integration and system enhancements.
  • Establish standards for system architecture, security, and scalability.
  • Engage with business leaders to ensure IT initiatives are in sync with organizational objectives.
Systems Integration:
  • Assess existing systems and recommend enhancements.
  • Incorporate new technologies and applications into the current IT framework.
  • Guarantee seamless interoperability among diverse systems and platforms.
Risk Assessment and Management:
  • Identify potential risks associated with technology choices.
  • Implement best practices and security measures to mitigate risks.
  • Continuously monitor system performance and address vulnerabilities promptly.
Resource Management:
  • Optimize resource allocation for IT initiatives.
  • Ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Provide strategic guidance on technology investments and procurement.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.
  • Effectively communicate architectural decisions and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI with CI Poly.
  • A bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with relevant experience, or a master's degree with applicable experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Systems Architect or in a similar capacity.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
  • Expertise in system design, enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, data management, and security solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills for technical documentation and presentations.
  • Proficient in Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
  • A commitment to staying informed about industry trends and advancements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five or more years of experience within the Intelligence Community.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw).
  • Knowledge of Data Security and Compliance, Data Integrity, AI Integration, and API management.
  • Experience with data visualization tools/software (e.g., Tableau, MS PowerBI).
