Position: Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer/ Architect

Warriors Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer to enhance our client's operational framework. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in documenting and refining the enterprise architecture, ensuring it aligns with the overarching vision and strategy aimed at fostering interoperability through cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data-centric initiatives across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Architecture Development: Craft an enterprise architecture that provides stakeholders with insights into essential capabilities, interdependencies, total cost of ownership, and mission-critical impacts and risks. This includes:

  • Current State Analysis: Identify and document the existing state of the client's IT ecosystem across various divisions.
  • Future State Vision: Collaborate on and beyond the client's IT roadmap to outline the desired future state of the IT landscape.
  • Transition Strategy: Formulate a comprehensive plan and architectural artifacts to guide the gradual transition from the current state to the envisioned future state.

Design and Strategic Planning:

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive architecture vision and strategy.
  • Create detailed roadmaps for technology adoption and system enhancements.
  • Set benchmarks for system design, security protocols, and scalability.
  • Engage with business leaders to ensure IT initiatives are in sync with organizational objectives.

Systems Integration:

  • Assess existing systems and recommend enhancements.
  • Incorporate new technologies and applications into the current IT framework.
  • Guarantee seamless interoperability among diverse systems and platforms.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks associated with technology choices.
  • Implement best practices and security measures to mitigate risks.
  • Continuously monitor system performance and promptly address vulnerabilities.

Resource Optimization:

  • Maximize resource allocation for IT initiatives.
  • Ensure cost-effective solutions while upholding quality and efficiency.
  • Provide strategic guidance on technology investments and procurement.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.
  • Effectively communicate architectural decisions and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 12 to 15 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 10 to 13 years of experience. A Doctorate in a technical domain may substitute for additional years of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Systems Engineer/Architect or in a similar capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
  • Expertise in system design, enterprise architecture, cloud solutions, data management, and security technologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills for technical documentation, presentations, and executive-level communications.
  • Proficiency in Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
  • A strong commitment to staying current with industry trends and advancements.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of experience within the Intelligence Community.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw).
  • Understanding of Data Security and Compliance, Data Integrity, Data Tagging, Data Mesh, AI Integration, API brokers, and Qualitative Computing.
  • Knowledge of IC policies, directives, and standards.
  • Experience with data visualization tools/software (e.g., Tableau, MS PowerBI).
