Warriors Recruiting is in search of a seasoned and driven Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer to enhance our client's operational framework. This role is pivotal in documenting and refining the enterprise architecture, ensuring it aligns with the overarching vision and strategy focused on enhancing interoperability through cloud solutions, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data-centric initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Architecture Development: Craft an enterprise architecture that provides stakeholders with insights into essential capabilities, interdependencies, total ownership costs, and mission-critical risks. This includes:

  • Current State Analysis: Identify and document the existing state of the client's IT landscape across various sectors.
  • Future State Vision: Collaborate to define the desired future state of the IT enterprise, aligning with strategic goals.
  • Transition Strategy: Formulate a structured plan to guide the transition from the current state to the envisioned future state.

Design and Strategic Planning:

  • Establish and uphold a comprehensive architectural vision and strategy.
  • Create detailed roadmaps for technology integration and system enhancements.
  • Set standards for system architecture, security protocols, and scalability.
  • Work alongside business leaders to ensure IT initiatives are in sync with organizational objectives.

Systems Integration:

  • Assess current systems and recommend enhancements.
  • Incorporate new technologies and applications into the existing IT framework.
  • Guarantee smooth interoperability among diverse systems and platforms.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential technology-related risks.
  • Implement best practices and security measures to mitigate risks.
  • Continuously monitor system performance and address vulnerabilities.

Resource Optimization:

  • Maximize resource allocation for IT initiatives.
  • Ensure cost-effective solutions while upholding quality and efficiency.
  • Advise on technology investments and procurement strategies.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including content providers, developers, and business analysts.
  • Articulate architectural decisions and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and ongoing improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with CI Poly
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 12-15 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 10-13 years of experience. A Doctorate in a technical domain may substitute for additional years of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Systems Engineer/Architect or in a comparable role.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
  • Expertise in system design, enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, data management, and security.
  • Exceptional communication skills for technical documentation and presentations.
  • Proficient in Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
  • A strong commitment to staying informed about industry trends and advancements.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of experience within the Intelligence Community.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw).
  • Understanding of Data Security, Compliance, Integrity, AI Integration, and Data Visualization tools.
  • Experience with IC policies, directives, and standards.
