Sales Consultant, Flexible Hours

Position Summary
As a Retail Sales Specialist, you will create a memorable shopping experience for customers by delivering exceptional service. Your role will involve utilizing effective sales strategies and demonstrating extensive product knowledge in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver genuine, friendly, and enthusiastic customer service by embodying top-tier service standards.
- Meet and exceed set sales targets and participate in promotional contests.
- Stay informed about current promotions and sales events.
- Assist customers with specialized services such as gift wrapping, gift registries, locating items, catalog orders, special requests, and furniture orders.
- Employ effective sales techniques to enhance sales volume and productivity.
- Showcase thorough product knowledge, including features and advantages.
- Accurately process transactions at the register, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Support the visual merchandising efforts, including signage and lighting maintenance.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring the stockroom is orderly.
- Process, label, and replenish merchandise as required.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- A passion for sales, with a proven track record of meeting sales goals.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment while also working independently.

- Strong communication skills to understand customer needs and preferences.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service and retail sales, preferably in specialty retail.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Physical ability to remain active on the sales floor and lift items up to 75 pounds safely.
Work Schedule
Part-Time Flex associates are required to work a minimum of two shifts on weekends and two during the week.
