About the Role
The Director of Valuation Services will lead our Valuation Consulting practice, driving business development, marketing, and staff management. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong track record of practice management and development success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow the Valuation Consulting practice, identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing relationships.
- Manage and perform consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and exceptional client service.
- Assist with proposal development, marketing materials, and web-based marketing initiatives to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with personnel from other offices and industry groups to manage and develop consulting practices.
- Represent the firm at industry trade shows and conferences, participating in firm-wide marketing and sales programs.
- Develop and deliver training programs for existing clients and prospects, showcasing expertise and thought leadership.
- Participate as a presenter of topics in valuation seminars and webinars, sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Write and/or co-author articles for publications in valuation periodicals, demonstrating expertise and thought leadership.
- Leverage technical knowledge and experience to provide effective project management and practice development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics required, MBA preferred.
- CPA, ABV, CFA, or ASA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience required.
- Demonstrated practice management skills and practice development success.
- Outstanding client service skills.
- Team player and deadline-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and set workload priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel as needed, approximately 10%.
