Position Overview

Ogden CAP is seeking a dedicated Guest Services Supervisor to enhance our esteemed hospitality team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional experience throughout their stay.

The Guest Services Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Front Office Management to oversee daily operations and implement effective procedures that elevate guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Front Office Manager with staff scheduling, payroll management, and various departmental tasks.
  • Providing support, training, and guidance to the guest service team.
  • Managing guest arrivals and departures, addressing any issues or complaints that may arise.
  • Delegating tasks to Guest Service Agents and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Overseeing front office operations by adhering to a checklist of essential daily responsibilities, ensuring room assignments align with hotel standards and availability.
  • Conducting thorough investigations into customer complaints to determine the most effective resolutions.
  • Leading daily pre-shift meetings and assisting in the onboarding and training of new staff members.
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration with other hotel departments, particularly Housekeeping, In-Room Dining, and Engineering, to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Participating in morning briefings to discuss arrivals and special requests.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a luxury hotel environment is essential.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is required, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A proven ability to lead a diverse team and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are highly valued.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in a foreign language is an advantage.
