Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Dining Room operations, including food, beverage, equipment, and property management. Ensure a consistently high standard of guest service, cleanliness, product presentation, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and direct workers to ensure efficient and safe completion of all retail tasks daily.
  • Train, onboard, and schedule staff.
  • Communicate regularly with Food & Beverage Manager, Chefs, and Cooks to ensure safe, professional, and efficient food service.
  • Attend and participate in management and safety meetings.
  • Manage staff to enforce standards and minimize personnel conflicts.
  • Maintain department records, including schedules, payroll, deposits, tips, and daily cash reports.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • National Park experience strongly preferred; full-service restaurant management experience required.
  • ServSafe Manager certification and MAST/TIPS required.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and food service POS systems.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Ability to move about on foot, lift, carry, reach, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to withstand temperature extremes in freezer, walk-in refrigerator, and grill areas.
  • Ability to speak clearly and understand speech of co-workers in English.
