Guest Services Representative

Our establishment is currently welcoming applications for the role of Guest Services Representative within our Front Office team. This position is vital in promoting our commitment to outstanding guest experiences and financial success.

General Requirements:Candidates must possess a friendly demeanor and be available to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on operational needs.
A background in customer service, whether in retail or hospitality, is essential.
A high school diploma is mandatory; a degree in fields such as communications, business management, or hospitality is advantageous but not required.
Experience and Skills:Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus but not essential.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills are necessary.
Capable of handling a high volume of guest interactions courteously and efficiently.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general internet applications is required.
Must work well under pressure and be a collaborative team player.
Proficient in cash handling and basic mathematical skills.
Knowledge of property management systems is recommended.
Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain consistent attendance and reliable transportation to the workplace.
Greet every guest warmly and maintain eye contact.
Exhibit courtesy and professionalism at all times.
Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, adhering to the dress code.
Foster effective communication and teamwork with colleagues across departments.
Manage all aspects of guest check-ins and check-outs in accordance with property standards.
Handle incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments or relaying messages.
Responsible for cash handling, posting charges to guest accounts, verifying credit cards, and balancing the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
Assist with reservations as needed, following established guidelines.
Be proactive in addressing guest needs, providing information about the property, and assisting with luggage or directions.
Take ownership of service issues raised by guests.
Communicate with empathy and respect towards fellow employees.
Complete shift reports, including necessary checks and balances.
Ensure proper operation of the property management system.
Understand fire and safety procedures, providing assistance during emergencies.
Participate in departmental meetings and company events as required.
