Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Server Representative to join our team at Melting Pot. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Interaction
    • Develop a rapport with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere
    • Offer beverage and food recommendations, taking into account guest preferences and dietary restrictions
    • Anticipate and respond to guest needs, ensuring prompt and courteous service
  • Order Taking and Processing
    • Take accurate and efficient orders, using the point-of-sale system to ensure seamless transactions
    • Process payments, handling cash, credit card, and gift card transactions with professionalism and accuracy
  • Service Station Maintenance
    • Ensure service stations are stocked and prepared to meet the needs of guests and staff
    • Maintain a clean and organized service area, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
    • Communicate regularly with the service team to address guest needs and concerns
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Previous experience in a fast-paced service environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic environment
  • Skills
    • Food safety certification and knowledge of food handling procedures
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
    • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, working primarily in the evening and weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and special events.
