The General Manager at Club Pilates is a key member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing all studio functions, driving membership growth, and developing strategies to prevent member attrition.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Execute lead generation strategies through grassroots marketing and networking initiatives
  • Implement a sales process to schedule prospects into introductory classes and workshops
  • Drive and increase membership sales through effective sales techniques and customer engagement
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure optimal staffing levels to meet customer demand
  • Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain a well-stocked retail area
  • Train and supervise sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Hire and manage instructors at the studio, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Proficiently use ClubReady software to track revenue reports, attendance, and other key performance indicators
  • Review instructor evaluations and provide mentorship and disciplinary action as needed
  • Make independent decisions related to high-level customer service and resolve customer complaints
  • Collect outstanding dues and maintain accurate financial records
  • Maintain a clean and organized studio environment, adhering to Club Pilates' standards and policies
  • Enforce Club Pilates' policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency across all locations
  • Schedule and participate in networking and community events, as well as studio promotions and marketing campaigns
**Requirements**
  • 2+ years of experience in retail, service sales, or fitness sales
  • Confident in generating personal sales and training sales associates in sales techniques
  • Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams, including memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
  • Fluent in English and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment and adapt to new challenges
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
  • An affinity and passion for fitness and wellness
  • Solid writing and grammar skills
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, and able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work harmoniously with coworkers, clients, and the general public
  • Proficient with computers and studio software
