Job Overview

We are looking for an HVAC Sales Specialist to contribute to our esteemed organization, PPS-HPS. This position involves providing precise service and repair quotations for clients, along with offering solutions and technical assistance to service personnel. The candidate will follow a professional development plan to achieve personal objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Engage with clients, suppliers, and service staff to ascertain customer needs and identify appropriate solutions and support.
  • Analyze service activities and work orders to collect necessary information for accurate cost estimates for suggested repairs.
  • Assist service personnel by researching equipment and sourcing repair components.
  • Maintain a systematic sales process through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Provide precise estimates for service and repair tasks utilizing CRM tools.
  • Regularly track and follow up with clients, finalize sales, and meet sales objectives.
  • Respond promptly to various customer inquiries regarding pricing and scope of work.
  • Foster and sustain positive professional relationships with clients, suppliers, service staff, and dispatchers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and local developments.
  • Encourage a company culture that promotes high performance and positive morale.
  • Maintain regular communication and seek guidance from the Sales Manager.
  • Support and fill in for team members as necessary.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • High school diploma or GED; a college diploma is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in customer service or sales within the HVAC sector.
  • Passionate about the company’s vision and dedicated to serving clients.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities.
  • Outstanding active listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Capable of collecting, tracking, and analyzing substantial amounts of data.
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Flexible in response to varying situations and unexpected circumstances.
  • Able to build rapport and collaborate effectively with others internally and externally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Dynamics 365.
  • Familiarity with smartphones, mobile applications, VoIP technology, computers, printers, copiers, and modern office equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of working on a computer for prolonged durations.
  • Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and at elevated heights.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work in extreme hot and cold conditions.
