Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to oversee and manage HVAC projects effectively. This role is crucial for the successful execution and completion of HVAC Division projects that meet or exceed a specified financial threshold.

The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the HVAC Division throughout all project phases, ensuring effective communication and management to drive team success and operational efficiency.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct site visits with the relevant sales team member
  • Review project costs, provide updates, and maintain accurate accounting
  • Ensure timely logistics for equipment and materials
  • Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors as necessary
  • Obtain signed bid proposals from sales, ensuring all details are included
  • Maintain open lines of communication with team members and management
  • Participate in project coordination meetings to discuss scope and scheduling before project initiation
  • Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and develop effective solutions to challenges
  • Seek advice and support from the HVAC Supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or certification in project management, applied science, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the commercial HVAC sector or equivalent training
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with a strong work ethic
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including active listening
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and manage large datasets
  • Advanced problem-solving capabilities
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Flexibility to handle diverse situations and unexpected challenges
  • Ability to foster collaboration among team members both internally and externally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Dynamics 365, Outlook, and Teams
  • Familiarity with modern office technology, including smartphones and VoIP systems

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The position entails the following physical demands:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Capability to work on ladders, lifts, and at elevated heights
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to various job sites and events
