Role Overview:
The Business Controls team operates within the first line of defense (1LOD) and is essential in ensuring the effective execution of key second line of defense (2LOD) Risk Management initiatives. These include risk and control self-assessment (RCSA), control testing, issue management, supplier risk management, and risk reporting.

The RCSA Senior Analyst will collaborate closely with risk owners and the 1LOD to identify potential risks and controls, providing expertise in the development and mapping of effective control measures.


Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various business units, including Finance, Marketing, and Corporate Development, to identify, document, and evaluate critical risks and controls.
- Conduct thorough walkthroughs of business processes to document workflows and verify that effective controls are established to mitigate risks.
- Work alongside business units to manage issues and ensure the timely completion of corrective action plans addressing control deficiencies.

- Assist in the regular review and updates of RCSAs to evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls based on testing results and process changes.

- Create and maintain comprehensive risk management reports for different forums and committees.
- Foster strong relationships and communication skills to support the consistent understanding and execution of enterprise risk management frameworks.
- Align with 2LOD on the quality and depth of RCSAs, issue management, and supplier risk management within the enterprise risk management framework.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in risk and control management (RCSA).
- Background in the banking or fintech sector.
- Familiarity with the three lines of defense framework.
- Knowledge of banking products, processes, and regulations.
- Experience in mapping complex processes and identifying control points.
- Self-driven with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to positively engage with management and colleagues.
- Ability to provide consultative support to the business in alignment with risk management objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
