Role Summary: The Senior Field Service Engineer is responsible for executing maintenance and repair tasks on gas compression and process systems at client sites. This role serves as a technical expert for intricate challenges within the designated area.
Key Competencies:
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to:
- Exhibit advanced troubleshooting and repair capabilities across various equipment types, including compressor systems, gas processing, and power generation apparatus utilized in the region.
- Independently conduct Preventative Maintenance (PM) to established standards.
- Supervise a team in executing Major Maintenance (MM), Overhaul, and MOB/DEMOB projects with minimal guidance.
- Execute compressor performance calculations.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities.
- Communicate effectively in English, including reading and writing work orders and manuals.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental protocols.
- Utilize computer skills, including vendor-specific software (Cat, Waukesha, Ariel, Murphy, etc.), Internet Explorer, and Outlook.
- Complete and submit required documentation accurately and promptly.
Technical Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of gas engines and compressors, electrical systems, control panels, and wiring through advanced training or proven performance.
- Awareness of emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- General knowledge of client production systems, including scrubbers and skid-mounted equipment.
- In-depth comprehension of compressor operational processes and systems.
- Proficient in following company maintenance standards and checklists.
Educational and Certification Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Preferred completion of gas or diesel engine and compressor training programs.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with natural gas engines and compressors, along with a solid understanding of production systems.
- Proven track record of safe and effective service delivery.

Leadership Responsibilities:
