As a District Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and oversee a network of independent dealers, aimed at enhancing the distribution and sales of Doosan Bobcat's grounds maintenance and turf equipment.



Key Responsibilities

Territory Management

  • Establish and nurture a dealer network that delivers exceptional customer experiences across all operational levels. Collaborate with dealers to ensure high customer satisfaction and build lasting relationships.
  • Foster a relationship with the dealer network based on mutual trust and respect. Guide the dealer's actions to benefit both the Company and the dealer. Oversee daily operations to align with customer needs while safeguarding the financial interests of both parties.
  • Relay customer and dealer needs to the relevant departments within the Company for effective follow-up.
  • Achieve market share objectives through strategic product sales. Promote and sell all available products to enhance brand visibility. Develop and manage annual sales plans for dealers while ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Create a comprehensive district strategy and tailored dealer strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.

Dealer Training

  • Facilitate dealer training sessions and promotional activities. Organize district sales training events focusing on new products and competitive insights. Accompany new sales specialists to familiarize them with the Company.

Dealer Communication and Accountability

  • Enhance dealer performance by conducting quarterly Sales/Action Plan meetings with key dealers. Present market share insights and competitive analysis. Review sales metrics and dealer action plans with dealer principals, ensuring proactive implementation of agreed-upon strategies.



Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience in commercial marketing, particularly in grounds maintenance equipment, is advantageous.
  • Proven territory management experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong track record of performance and motivation.
  • Ability to make informed and timely decisions.
  • Self-driven with excellent time management and prioritization skills, particularly in a home office setting.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
