Reporting Structure

Reports to the Regional Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be accountable for driving sales of products, systems, and services within a specified market or division, aligning with the overall division strategy. Your daily objectives will include achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales goals to ensure sustainable growth in orders, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will leverage your expertise to identify and cultivate new sales opportunities. The work model for this role is: #LI-Remote. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Implementing the sales process to analyze account performance, including setting annual budgets by account, monitoring monthly order rates, identifying gaps to budget, and recognizing key opportunities and decision-makers.
• Managing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) utilization, overseeing opportunities and pipelines through all stages of the sales process, and ensuring accurate updates until the closure of opportunities.
• Developing and finalizing monthly forecasts for your assigned territory by creating, maintaining, and executing a 30, 90, 180, and 365-day opportunity funnel with accounts.
• Achieving year-over-year sales growth and meeting or exceeding budget expectations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience OR Associate degree with 12 years of relevant experience OR High School/GED with 14 years of relevant experience required.
  • Must reside within the designated region (unless approved by Executive leadership); travel is a minimum of 40%.
  • In-depth understanding of the USA AC and DC Drives market, including customer insights and competitive landscape.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Proficient in developing and nurturing relationships, from operational levels to executive leadership.
  • Structured and process-oriented approach (sales processes, tools, dashboards, etc.).
  • Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
