Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and programs.
- Provide constructive feedback to district teams regarding marketing strategies and resource allocation.
- Lead district teams to optimize performance and achieve sales objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including screening and interviewing candidates.
- Ensure adherence to training protocols.
- Deliver effective coaching and mentoring to prepare team members for future advancement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and competency assessments.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with district and cross-functional teams.
- Share best practices and insights with team members.
- Organize and lead district sales meetings to guide team efforts.
- Establish and nurture relationships with local Opinion Leaders to align objectives.
Candidate Expectations:
We recognize that our team members bring unique strengths to our mission of serving patients. The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive individual with the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree with 2 years of Sales/Marketing experience, or
- Master's degree with 6 years of Sales/Marketing experience, or
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of Sales/Marketing experience, or
- Associate's degree with 10 years of Sales/Marketing experience, or
- High school diploma/GED with 12 years of Sales/Marketing experience.
Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of managerial experience is required, including direct management of personnel or leadership of teams and projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over three years of experience in specialty sales (Nephrology, Rheumatology, or Dermatology).
- Experience with biologics and the buy-and-bill model.
- Proven ability to recognize and promote successful behaviors while addressing unsatisfactory performance through effective coaching.
- Strong market and customer insight to strategically target messages and resources.
- Knowledge of local payer coverage and the ability to articulate clinical concepts and data.
- Proficient in utilizing clinical information to effectively address customer inquiries.
- Strong recruitment skills to identify candidates who meet job criteria.
- Demonstrated self-discipline and responsibility.
- Ability to set and communicate short-term and long-term objectives effectively.
