Position Overview

Location: Hybrid work model available.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.

The Financial Operations Accountant will assist the Accounting team by performing a range of general accounting tasks as required. This role is situated in a dynamic and efficient office atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains and reconciles an automated consolidation system by entering data, scheduling necessary tasks, and verifying information.
  • Analyzes financial data and options by creating detailed spreadsheet reports and validating data accuracy.
  • Prepares entries for the general ledger by managing records and files, and reconciling various accounts.
  • Facilitates payment processes by accruing expenses, assigning account identifiers, and reconciling accounts.
  • Implements and refines accounting procedures by evaluating existing methods and suggesting improvements.
  • Addresses accounting and financial inquiries by researching and interpreting relevant data.
  • Safeguards the organization's assets by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Contributes to the overall mission of the accounting department by completing related tasks as necessary.
Qualifications

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Demonstrates high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exhibits strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of collaborating effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
Desired Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Work Authorization:
Must be able to confirm identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
