About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting & Tax Manager to join our team at Prosum. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of accounting specialists, managing client relationships, and overseeing daily accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of accounting specialists and manage client relationships to deliver exceptional service and value.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including financial statement preparation, tax planning, and compliance.
- Provide business advisory services to clients, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Review and prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency, and implement changes to drive business growth.
- Mentor and train staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in business development initiatives to identify new opportunities and grow the business.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks and manage project budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including previous experience managing staff.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license strongly preferred.
- Experience in a CPA firm, particularly in tax and/or audit, is preferred.
- Experience working in the healthcare/medical industry is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer competitive and equitable compensation, compliant with local/state regulations, ranging from $105,000 to $140,000. In addition to base compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) profit sharing, life and disability insurance, a lifestyle spending account, certification incentives, education assistance, and a referral program.
