In this crucial position, you will play a significant role in our daily accounting functions, oversee general ledger documentation, manage capital expenditures, assist in the month-end financial closing process, and support audits and reporting. Your contributions will be vital to the success of our Finance and Accounting Department.

Key tasks include:

  • Ensuring the precision of financial records, general ledger accounts, and reports.
  • Preparing journal entries and conducting account analyses.
  • Executing balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Supporting monthly closing activities.
  • Managing capital expenditure records and verifying the accuracy of general ledger coding for accounts payable transactions.
  • Conducting cost savings and internal audits.
  • Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
  • Ensuring adherence to SOX and GAAP standards in all responsibilities.
  • Preparing and submitting 1099 and sales/use tax returns.
  • Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
  • Supporting the Senior Accounting Manager/Controller with additional tasks and projects as required.
  • Completing other assigned duties.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with skills in functions such as v/h/x-lookup, sumif/sumifs, and pivot table formulas.
  • Exceptional analytical, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A quick learner capable of applying knowledge effectively.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Capable of multitasking, managing various projects and deadlines, adapting to changing demands, and re-prioritizing tasks.
  • Skilled in evaluating current methods and suggesting improvements when necessary.
  • Minimum typing speed of 10,000 KPH with high accuracy (98%) on 10-key typing.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA certification.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:


This role is a full-time position operating Monday through Friday, with a standard schedule of 5x8 hours, and may require occasional overtime during month-end closing.


Compensation:


We provide competitive compensation packages for this role, which include a base salary, equity grants, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. The compensation range for this position is $65,800 - $87,700 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
