Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and precise transactions.
  • Assist in the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses.
  • Conduct job costing evaluations and collaborate with project leaders to oversee project budgets and expenditures.
  • Facilitate the annual audit process by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards.
  • Aid in the formulation of budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Engage in the ongoing enhancement of financial processes and systems.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, ideally within the construction sector.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 300) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and job costing methodologies.
