Position Details:
Location: California
Hourly Compensation: $30 - $35

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain precise financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Assist in the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses.
- Conduct job costing assessments and collaborate with project leaders to track project budgets and expenditures.
- Facilitate the annual audit process by preparing necessary schedules, documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable accounting regulations.
- Aid in the development of budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Engage in the ongoing enhancement of financial processes and systems.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, ideally within the construction sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 300) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and job costing methodologies.
